[FC25] How to identify strong players (details of player status)

A must-see for beginners! We will explain how to distinguish strong players in FC25.

There are a huge number of types of players and cards in FUT. Therefore, every time a new card is released, it becomes difficult to know which players are strong. Even if you ask someone, some may not suit you, so you should learn how to distinguish strong players yourself.

Ability Score Description

First, let me explain some ability values, which many people don't know about.

Skill moves and weak feet

If the ★ of the skill move is high, you will be able to perform special techniques that normal players cannot perform. If you want to actually reproduce technical players such as Neymar and Ronaldinho, this value is essential. The conditions for activating the skill move are as follows!

The higher the star for Weak Foot Accuracy, the higher the accuracy of your play with your non-dominant foot. Even if your ability score is high, if your weak foot accuracy is low, you will often not be able to fully utilize your ability, so the higher the better.

From the table, we can see that players under 182cm are classified as "explosive" and players over 181cm are classified as "long". Therefore, as an exception, players between 181cm and 182cm are distributed between "very explosive" and "slightly long".

If this value is high, you will be able to make accurate passes that are less likely to be intercepted.

curve

It is included in the path section,This value also applies when shooting.It is a must-have skill for players with outside curves and those who often take high-precision shots. It is a must-have skill because it can sometimes take shots that are just out of reach of the goalkeeper.

Agility

Quickness and sharpness of movement.Basically, the controllability of the player changes depending on this value.

balance

The flexibility to play even when out of balance.Although it may seem similar to the Physical value, Physical is a value that indicates the hardness that makes it difficult to lose balance, so it should be considered separately.

reaction

Reaction speed to loose ballsWhen the ball is loose, players who quickly go to retrieve it tend to have a high value in this category.

control

Accuracy of trapping when receiving a pass.This is a useful ability for STs, who often receive the ball.

Calmness

When you are close to the other person,Can you play calmly?Even if your "Decision-making ability" or "Short Pass" are high, if this value is low, your shots and passes may not go through.

Defensive Awareness

The skill of marking players and the ease of use when controlling the jockey.This value determines the ability of the jockey to fill in open spaces and track players who are running behind the defense. Also, if this value is high when using the jockey to defend, the jockey will slide sideways faster.

Proactiveness

Will you actively compete?A higher value for this will allow you to react better to a high-flying ball and get your body in between the ball and the opposing player.

I won't go into the other items here as you can probably guess from their names.

Next, we will explain how to distinguish the ability scores for each position. A player's ability score increases as events and time progress, so please use this as a guide for the early stages.

ST

Dribbler ST

Recommended for those who want to outwit their opponents with dribbling moves or compete one-on-one.

If you get your body into the opponent's defense, the ball will often be taken away immediately, but it is extremely easy to get behind your opponent.

If you want to beat them with skill, use skill 5. If not, use weak foot 5.I tend to dribble past opponents more than pass, so I find skill 5 to be useful. I think a minimum of 4 is enough for the weak foot. Even if the player is 4 stars, they are not weak if their ability values are high, so I don't think it's necessary to stick to 5 stars.
