A summary of custom tactics. We've put together a list of tactics that we've found to be effective, as well as tactics used by pros and veterans. Please take a look.
Tactics that I personally found to be effective
3421 (Excellent defense)
This is the tactic I personally recommend the most. I'm not good at defense and building up, so this tactic has really helped me.
defense | |
Defensive style | balance |
width | 42 |
Depth | 70 |
Offense | |
Build Up | balance |
Chance creation | Direct Path |
width | 50 |
Infiltration of the PA | 6 |
Corner kick | 3 |
Free kick | 2 |
ST: Stay in the center, get behind
LM/RM: Return to defense, meet crosses inside the penalty area
LCM: Covers the center
RCM: Does not move up during attacks, covers the center
LCB: Attack participation
During defense, the LM and RM will drop back, forming a 5-back formation. During attack, the sides will move up, increasing the range of attack. For this reason, choose midfielders and side players who can both defend and pass.
The reason why the left CB is set to participate in the attack is to fill the space that the left CM player will participate in the attack. In addition, the LCM player should be a player who can shoot.
Streamer's recommended custom tactics
4321 (Excellent attackability)
The tactics we will introduce in 4321 are those of former world champion Tex.
defense | |
Defensive style | balance |
width | 43 |
Depth | 71 |
Offense | |
Build Up | balance |
Chance creation | Direct Path |
width | 40 |
Infiltration of the PA | 7 |
Corner kick | 2 |
Free kick | 1 |
ST: Get behind the defense
Right CF: Get behind the defense, return to defense
Left CF: Get behind the defense
Right CM: Covers the center
Center CM: Does not move up during attacks, covers the center
Left SB: Doesn't move up when attacking
This 4321 tactic makes attacking easier than other formations.
This tactic is focused on attack, with the ST, both CFs, left and right CMs, and right SB all moving forward. It also changes to 442 when defending, making it easier to defend. To be honest, I think this tactic is unmatched when it comes to attack. Please give it a try!
41212(2) (Central Attack)
defense | |
Defensive style | Press only when there is a chance to steal |
width | 55 |
Depth | 65 |
Offense | |
Build Up | balance |
Chance creation | Forward Run |
width | 37 |
Infiltration of the PA | 7 |
Corner kick | 1 |
Free kick | 1 |
ST: Stretch out in the front line (get behind to one side)
CAM: Stay forward, receive crosses inside the penalty area
CM: Receive crosses inside the penalty area, cover the centre
CDM: Cut off passing lanes, stay back during attacks, cover the center
SB: Does not move up during attacks, overlaps
This 41212(2) tactic focuses on breaking through the center.
They attack with "tiki-taka" which is a series of short passes. The distance between the players is short and they attack quickly, so I think it is a custom tactic that is unstoppable once they get into the flow.
One weakness is that they do not position players on the sides when defending, so they often concede goals when the opponent repeatedly attacks using the sides. The intention is to go and get the ball on the side during the commercial break.Having this can help prevent this to some extent, so you may need to practice.
However, this tactic also allows you to attack at a good tempo,Recommended for those who are not good at attackingI think so.
4231 (stable type)
defense | |
Defensive style | balance |
width | 55 |
Depth | 60 |
Offense | |
Build Up | balance |
Chance creation | Direct Path |
width | 70 |
Infiltration of the PA | 7 |
Corner kick | 3 |
Free kick | 1 |
ST: Take the front line
CAM: Back to Defense
LM/RM: Meet a cross inside the penalty area
CDM: Cut off passing routes (only for players with high defensive ability: do not move up during attacks), cover the center
SB: Does not move up during attacks, overlaps
4231 is a tactic that many people use. The best thing about 4231 is that it can be used for both offense and defense. When attacking, use the sides and slowly search for a route to attack. When defending, delaying the opponent's attack allows the CAM, LM, and RM to drop back. You can defend in a 4-5-1 formation, which allows for stable defense.
If you're not good at fast soccer, be sure to check this out.
5212 (Defensive and offensive counter attack type)
defense | |
Defensive style | balance |
width | 35 |
Depth | 58~65(optional) |
Offense | |
Build Up | balance |
Chance creation | Balance (Direct pass if you want to turn quickly) |
width | 50 |
Infiltration of the PA | 5 |
Corner kick | 2 |
Free kick | 1 |
CAM: Stay forward, receive a cross inside the penalty area
CDM: Doesn't move up during attacks, covers the center
SB: Overlap
Goalkeeper: Aggressive in dealing with crosses
This tactic is often used to prevent high pressure or as a closer. It allows the WB player to move back and forth, which was not possible with 41212 (2), making it easier to miss the ball to the side.Calm down the gameYou can.
When defending, they can defend with seven players, including five backs and a CDM, and when attacking, they can advance with five players, including a ST, CAM and WB, so it can be said that this is a tactic that allows them to easily handle attacks.
The disadvantage is that there are only two midfielders.High-precision shots are likely to be takenOne point to note is that you can defend by controlling the CDM or central CB to cut off the opponent's path, so it may be a good idea to keep that in mind.
summary
I've introduced five tactics that I actually use as reference. Each one has a different way of fighting, so try to find the tactic that suits you. Just tweaking the tactics can make a big difference in the results of CF and DR, so be sure to set them. It will make FIFA even more fun. See you then.
Until next time!
